Too often I see people doing all their shooting from a standing position only.  Not only does this not lend to creative photography it also is less inspiring when shooting children.

In this photo I’m at a standing position.  You’ll see the angle from the standing position downwards to the children continues past them to the ground behind them.

However, bend down to their level and you bring the angle more horizontal and bring in a whole new world.  You now can get a great sense of the environment they are in.

Now go out and shoot!
