Adobe Kuler lets you easily create complimentary color’s and swatches for your designs!
To start we are going to go to http://kuler.adobe.com/#themes/mostpopular?time=30. The latest version of flash player is required, however it will give you the option to upgrade right from their website.
Once their website loads you will be on the most popular themes page. On this page you can see the most popular color swatches that other users have submitted. Under this same category ”Themes” you can also view the newest, highest rated, and random color swatches. All of these have the option to subscribe to RSS feeds for new swatches. Find a nice color swatch? Quickly register and you can download any swatch you see!
Some of you may want to create your own color swatches, so just by clicking “Create” you have two more options: 1. From a base color 2. From a photo. With your first option you can select any base color and then select a color rule. Adobe Kuler will automatically generate swatch results based on your settings. Now from your second option “From a Photo”, you can quickly upload a photo, select your color “mood” and once again it is all automaticly generated. These swatches can also be downloaded or the hex value can be copied if you don’t feel like registering.
