Welcome to Red Pixel Media! Today’s article will quickly show you how to make a very popular product box. This is great for selling digital products online! A finished .psd file is downloadable at the bottom.

An average product box size in real life is 5 1/2″ x 7 1/2″, so that’s what I did inside photoshop. It’s easiest using rulers to plan it out first:

Make a selection within the ruler makings and fill it in using the paint bucket tool with the color of your choice. Next make a second, smaller piece that’s roughly 1/4 the width and the same height.

Make sure you do these on two different layers, because the next step is to go edit –> transform –> perspective. Select the larger block’s layer and drag the top right corner down slightly; then select the smaller block’s layer and drag it’s left corner down a little. Then select the centre-left edge and drag towards the centre to get the desired angle.
