FREE PHOTOSHOP TUTORIALS
Welcome to Red Pixel Media! I’m a huge fan of vignetting, however I always used the easy tool in Adobe Lightroom instead of Adobe Photoshop. Today I will show you how to create realistic, super easy ways to vignette your image!
1. Open image.
2. Make new layer.
3. Change blend mode to “Soft Light”
4. Paint along edge with 100% opacity, 0% hardness, black, round paint brush.
5. Done! The key is to have the blend mode to “Soft Light”.
Optional: A great option is to paint areas of the photo you want to focus into with white instead of black. On the same layer as your vignette, use a 10-35% opacity, 0% hardness, white, round paint brush. (I did this on the top example)

You can make vignetting with the ‘lens correction’ filter without any layers or brushes.

There is a vignetting slider.
Wow, thanks for the comments. Always finding hidden features in Photoshop! If you’re feeling like you need a more “custom” feel… perhaps only two corners vignetting continue with the tutorial
